Originally from Lahore, Pakistan, Dr. Zaheer completed his medical degree at Allama Iqbal Medical College, where he was recognized as the best sportsman in his class. He continued his medical education at Brown University, where he completed a residency focused on the study of internal medicine. He has also completed a fellowship in preventative cardiology at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Boston.
