Dr. Mehta was friendly, relaxed and easy to talk to. She seemed to take in everything I had to say and respected how I felt about previous experiences with medications. I didn't feel pressured to take Ny extreme measures and felt that she would work with me to find a mix of solutions for my unique situation.

She listened very attentively, asked questions in a way that didn't feel too clinical or too casual, and gave incredible feedback at the end. I've seen two other psychiatrists and Dr Mehta is the first to propose other possible causes for my mental health issues and concrete plans to address them. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing her again.

She was wonderful, warm, and made a very difficult step (getting help) feel very much like the right decision. I am optimistic about continuing treatment with her and the therapist she recommended.

Dr. Mehta was the psychiatrist I had been searching for. She listens, she is actively involved in understanding where you are currently at with life and medication. Her diagnosis and approach are fantastic.

Very thorough. Listened carefully to my concerns and past history. Very knowledgeable and created a well thought out medication plan and made sure that I was comfortable with the plan. I found her to be warm (not something you always find in psychiatrists). I was seen exactly at my scheduled time. Overall a good experience and I plan on continuing my treatment with her.

Absolutely impossible to get a hold of! I left 3 separate messages and no one got back to me.
I finally got in to see her because I had to go through ZocDoc again even though I wasn't a new patient and she said I could email her assistant to set up a new appointment. Nope! She doesn't respond at all either.
Amishi is great, but trying to get in to see her is an absolute nightmare!

I think the meeting went well. I talked a lot and have a lot going on. She was very nice and professional. Did a lot of listening. I would've wanted more feedback as i talked about a few things. This was more an assessment of me and where I was so I understand. This is only my first time visiting. I need more time to see their process and their thought evaluation to really be able to give an evaulation.

Of the six psychiatrists I've visited in the past 20 years, Dr. Mehta is the kindest, most personable, and clear psychiatrist I've ever met. She listened attentively, asked questions without interrupting, and probed past diagnoses without being dismissive. She explained her assessments and detailed a few treatment options, always making sure that I understood the variables and the precise course of action.
Of the six other psychiatrists I've seen, she is the only one who does not attempt to present as a blank slate. She's engaged as a thoughtful human being but with a respectful clinical distance.
I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Nice waiting room, short wait, and Dr. Mehta was very kind, intelligent, and took what I had to say seriously. I will be back to see her next month and would recommend her to anyone looking to establish care.
