Dr. Amit Srivastava graduated from Loyola University Stritch school of Medicine in 1984. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he served a three-year fellow-ship in Gastroenterology with advance therapeutic endoscopy and endoscopic ultrasound. He is a member of various professional societies and is a fellow of American gastroenterology association. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology with special interests in heartburn, ulcer, pancreatic diseases, colon, liver and bile duct problems. He is a member of AGA, ASGE. He has held multiple leadership positions at MacNeal Hospital including chairman of medicine and PLC.
