The staff was nice and Dr. Khokhar was especially friendly and knowledgeable. He will give you a very thorough explanation. However I waited three hours before I actually saw the doctor, and I only saw him for a few minutes. So you should plan to have a lot of time on your hands before scheduling the appointment.

My Lasik surgery was a life changing event for me. It was quick and painless and the results are incredible. The staff are friendly and professional, and made me feel right at home. My only regret, is that I didn't do it sooner!

Dr. Amjad Khokhar is an ophthalmologist treating patients in the Sugar Land, Pear Land, and greater Texas areas. He holds certification from the American Board of Ophthalmology and is recognized as one of the most experienced LASIK surgeons in the region. He also holds membership with professional organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Texas Medical Association, the Houston Ophthalmologic Society, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
Originally from Louisiana, Dr. Khokhar attended Rice University for his undergraduate degree, graduating magna cum laude. He pursued his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine at the Texas Medical Center. Dr. Khokhar continued his medical education through an internship at Ben Taub General Hospital and a residency program at the University of Texas Medical Branch. During his residency, Dr. Khokhar trained under the most recognized practitioners of LASIK surgery in the country.

In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Khokhar trains young physicians rotating with him at the Sugar Land Eye and Laser Center.
