“Dr Kharsa was very thorough. So was his assistant. I was so happy to hear that I still have no eye damage from the glaucoma, which I’ve been diagnosed with for 3 years now. Dr Kharsa also told me that I actually have no evidence of glaucoma. He asked if the diagnoses was made based only on eye pressure, and yes, that is what my former ophthalmologist who diagnosed me had told me at the time. So, Dr Kharsa wants to test my vision when I haven’t been using my prescription glaucoma drops for a short period of time. I certainly appreciate his questions, suggestions, and his interest. His willingness to review and test a former diagnosis is refreshing. He also was very easy to talk to, informative, and was more than willing to answer my questions. He did take his time to examine me, and run the battery of tests. Anyone in need of an ophthalmologist would be very hard pressed to find as good of an eye specialist as Dr Kharsa.”

About Dr. Ahmad Kharsa
Dr. Ahmad Kharsa is a board-eligible ophthalmologist dedicated to providing comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, retinal conditions, and eyelid disorders. He also has extensive surgical training in cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), oculoplastic procedures, and retinal treatments.
Dr. Kharsa earned his Doctor of Medicine from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where he graduated among the top students in his class and was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where he served as Chief Resident and received multiple academic and clinical excellence awards.
In addition to his clinical training, Dr. Kharsa has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations in ophthalmology and medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
