Dr. Amy Schnegg is a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist from Dublin, Ohio. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in Columbus, Ohio in 2012. She moved to San Antonio in 2014 to complete a residency in Primary Care/Ocular Disease at the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry. Dr. Schnegg specializes in glaucoma and medical specialty contact lens fits. Her residency training provided extensive experience in pre and post-op glaucoma and cataract surgery. Dr. Schnegg has a passion for contributing to the betterment and advancement of the optometric profession and had the opportunity to do so with her research on glaucoma and macular degeneration during residency. Dr. Schnegg has also been involved in several ophthalmic outreach mission trips including five visits to Guatemala and hopes to continue her outreach passion both in the San Antonio community as well as world-wide. When not busy seeing patients, Dr. Schnegg enjoys playing sand volleyball, hiking, discovering new and fun activities to enjoy in San Antonio, and traveling.
