Motivated to better his patient’s quality of life by improving their vision, Dr. Andrew Rollin Davis completed a fellowship in Cornea, External, and Refractive Surgery at Duke University in Durham, NC. Dr. Davis is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist.
This specialized training gives him expertise in refractive cataract surgery, including the use of near vision correcting multifocal lenses (PanOptix, Symfony), astigmatism (Toric) correcting intraocular lenses, and laser cataract surgery.
In addition, Dr. Davis specializes in laser refractive surgery (Lasik, PRK), Corneal Cross-linking, and Corneal transplants (DMEK, DSAEK, PKP).
Dr. Davis was born and raised in Austin, TX. He obtained a BS in Physics with an emphasis in Optics from Colorado State University, followed by attending medical school at Texas A&M University. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and an Ophthalmology Residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He acted as chief resident during his final year.
Dr. Davis is married with two children. He enjoys spending time outdoors, riding his bike, and enjoying his family. Dr. Davis is thrilled to be joining the Mid-Atlantic Eyecare family and looks forward to serving patients in the Williamsburg & Tidewater area.
