More about Andrew Dinsmoor, MS, RD
Andrew Dinsmoor’s interest in nutrition, health, and disease management started through watching his mother work as a Registered Nurse. Additionally, his stepdad managed many lifelong health challenges after surviving treatment for brain cancer. The confusion of his upbringing and the passion it spawned drew him to study Nutritional Science to work on the problem of reducing health disparities in our society. Andrew’s training in Medical Nutrition Therapy can support clients with a variety of conditions such as those with weight concerns, emotional eating, general wellbeing, intuitive/mindful eating, mental health nutrition, IBS, IBD, heart health, prediabetes, diabetes, and gestational diabetes. Andrew believes that all people deserve nutritional care and practices with a HAES informed approach. He feels everyone with an interest can make small changes to their diet that can lead to big benefits for their health.
Andrew Dinsmoor graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from University of Nebraska at Omaha and completed his Master’s Degree in Nutritional Science from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Andrew Dinsmoor enjoys creative writing, learning, exercising, cooking, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
