About Lindsay Kirkland

Hi, I'm Lindsay! I live in South Carolina with my husband, daughter, and dog. I love to cook, try new local restaurants, and spend time with my family. My love for food and curiosity for experimenting in the kitchen led me to a career in dietetics. I earned my bachelor's degree from the University of Dayton and my master's degree in Clinical Nutrition from the University of Pittsburgh. During my training, I found my passion in bariatric surgery and weight management. I found the surgeries themselves so interesting, and the changes the body naturally goes through to evolve with a new digestive tract are amazing. I wanted to learn more! I immersed myself in all the trainings I could find, which piqued my interest in the inner workings of weight loss medication. Little did I know, there would be a boom and normalization in weight loss medications just a few years later. Through my experience with weight management and bariatric surgery, I have also learned a lot about diabetes, high blood pressure, digestive issues, kidney disease, and many other health complications. As my client, know that I will take into account the whole picture of your health journey to help you meet your goals. Nutrition is always evolving, whether that be the science of nutrition or the creativity of cooking healthfully. I love that we are able to find ways to make healthy, delicious foods. My goal is to help strategize meal planning to eliminate the stress and anxiety surrounding mealtime. I can't wait to work with you!
