Patient reviews for Dr. Andrew Feldman
Dr. Feldman seemed very confident and knowledgeable. But it was obvious that he wasn't interested in taking the time to truly understand what was going on and was just offering the simplest quickest explanation. He did not provide me with the opportunity to ask further questions and actually left me feeling more confused.
Dr. Feldman was personable and straightforward. Waited less than 15 mins. Recommended.
He was good but the visit was tainted by the fact that I waited more than an hour after to see him — when I did, there was no apology or explanation. It was rude.
Dr. Feldman is awesome. I needed an immediate consultation on what was unfortunately a torn meniscus, and he was able to see me the same day. He ordered me an MRI the following day, and was able to see me again 2 days later. I would highly recommend Dr. Feldman, great guy!
Brief
Dr. Feldman was clear, caring, and very knowledgeable. His support staff, especially Mo, are amazing. Very highly recommended.
Excellent! A Doctor that really knows what he is talking about. I highly recommend
Excellent visit. No time wasted. Doctor explained x-ray. Gave me options. I felt relieved. No real damage! Just arthritis...lucky it was not worse considering my age. Will be back in a few weeks to get non surgical procedure to help me reduce the discomfort & keep me walking. Thank you!
Nice pleasant staff and nice and knowledgeable doctor.
Knowledgeable but the wait time was insane and I saw multiple people booked for the same time slot.
Dr. Feldman performed surgery on my left shoulder and repaired my torn Biceps tendon. If you have a biceps tear, then I'd absolutely recommend Dr. Feldman. The pain I felt pre-surgery is gone thus far, and I'm getting strength and mobility back rapidly. The only constructive criticism I have is that some of his office staff are pretty hard to work with. Moe is excluded, as he's great.
All good - I got discharged - so no complaints. I highly recommend Dr Feldman and their team - the entire experience from the beginning, through surgery and post-operation was great.
I went to Dr. Feldman for my first broken bone- an extremely bad fracture. His knowledge and clear communication helped me feel better about the surgery I needed, and I got the surgery within the week. The office is busy and can run late, but everyone in the office is helpful and always aware of all the patients. I'm very happy with the results after a 2nd surgery to remove hardware- great surgeon.
I was seen 50 minutes late. Dr Feldman offered no apology. I mentioned the issue and he responded by saying he was "busy" and that "it's not unusual to wait that long." Both these responses - and his complete lack of contrition - were completely unacceptable.
Excellent doctor, very smart and good at what he does. Very clear explainer
Very knowledgeable doctor- clearly one of the best in his field
Liked the doctor. Wait time was excruciating. Over an hour.
Excellent
Doctor Feldman is very knowledgeable and very professional. He listened, addressed my concerns and truly cares about his patients.
Dr. Feldman is fantastic! He took his time with me, and made me feel really comfortable by immediately opting for the least invasive, most conservative treatment options. Unfortunately, his support staff are a bit overwhelmed and seem a little disorganized. I have had several instances where I have had to resort to emailing his assistant because no one answers the phone OR returns voicemails. If it weren't for the poor coordination, I would give this practice 5 stars.
Great and responsive no wait time
Excellent physician. Very unfriendly receptionist.
He was timely, to the point, and set me up with steps to fix my injury.
Dr.Andrew is very professional and nice doctor. I hurt my knee by ski injury. He prepared everything in advanced and my knee getting better as he told me.
I had a very positive experience with each member of his team as well as Dr Feldman. I left feeling better knowing more about the symptoms.
Amazing doctor amazing bedside manner knowledgeable, he performed my knee surgery he is highly recommended. His staff is amazing he is thorough the NYU surgical center is wonderful.
He's a smart doctor
Dr. Feldman is fabulous! I’ve been utilizing his services since 2000 and have been highly satisfied.
Doctor Feldman was thorough, clear, informative and (most of all) incredibly nice. I've been dealing with a frustrating (and as yet undiagnosable) knee issue for almost 2 years now, and after following a colleague's recommendation for a second opinion, I am very happy with our (note: our - he considered my opinion and worries when providing me with options) treatment decision. True to the other reviews, the wait time in the office and the (lack of) response to phone calls left a little to be desired, but even so, I would wholeheartedly recommend this surgeon to those who are looking.
Dr. Feldman is fantastic to work with. Extremely knowledgeable and take the time to explain his diagnosis and the various options thoroughly. I took my 14 year old son to see him, and he had plenty of time to make sure we both were comfortable with the diagnosis and treatment plan before leaving. Also, Mo in his office is an added benefit, a real plus.
Dr. Feldman was very helpful in addressing my shoulder pain. However the office was extremely disorganized and crowded - I waited about an hour to be seen. When I asked the desk staff when they thought I would be seen they responded by saying “Dr. Feldman is a specialist and so people have to wait.” This was a bit disappointing - I have seen many specialists and this doesn’t necessarily mean patients should be seen an hour after the appointment time!
As always, my visit with Dr. Feldman was lovely. He is very reassuring when discussing my issues, which I appreciate. He also, always has a plan of action for future treatment to ensure the best outcome given any situation. Good job Moe and Dr. Feldman!
Good visit but wait time was too long.
Good visit. Through ZocDoc I did preliminary paperwork and gave insurance information beforehand. All of this had to be repeated when I arrived — and there was a great deal of paperwork. This should be offered to be done before day of appointment on-line if possible. Moreover, no one answers the phone at this office.
I appreciated his direct assessment of my knee arthritis and my limitations as a runner. We discussed swimming and biking as alternatives.
He was very professional and thorough. I felt confident in his ability which is important when you are concerned about your health.
Personable. Professional. Knowledgeable.
Best ortho in NY. Office can be slow to respond to calls and requests for info.
Efficient and attentive
I find him to be quite knowledgeable in his area and is very forthcoming with treatment option. He is very frank in his discussions - giving you the good, the bad and the ugly, which I appreciate.
Very knowledgeable and helpful.
Great bedside manner and very professional!
Dr Feldman and his staffs are very courteous.Dr Feldman takes time to explain to me what’s going on and some treatments.Very pleasant doctor
Dr. Feldman is professional, efficient and knowledgable with a friendly demeanor. I liked that they quickly took X-rays on-site to get a sense of the scope of my injury.
I highly recommend Dr. Feldman. He has been treating me for a knee issue - at the outset, he gave me several options to consider, with the pros and cons of each. I took his recommended option and he performed surgery. Throughout the process he has been up front about the challenges i'd have in recovery, but in the end it has been worth it - I have seen great improvement and have had a positive outcome thus far.
I have seen Dr. Feldman for several years. He has performed two procedures on me. I had positive experiences with both. He provided me with options and answered all my questions. His staff was also helpful and answered any questions I had as well.
I am very thankful to have the services of Dr. Feldman and his team of professionals. I have been his patient since 1999, and have never had a complaint. He has taken excellent care of knees for almost two decades (which is no easy job) and I highly recommend his services. Thank you and good job!
As a dancer, my career depends on my body. I've now had two knee surgeries with Dr.Feldman, and trust him completely with my joints. He listens, gives you all the information you need, is honest, and will do everything he can to get you back to doing what you love; whether it's ballet or tennis. His whole team is extremely helpful, smart, efficient, and on top of it. For my first surgery, Dr. Feldman spent an extra hour of his time repairing my torn meniscus once he was inside my knee because he knew as a dancer, I needed the cushion in the long run. In comparison, other orthopedists I had seen for second opinions told me they would just cut it out from the start and not even try to repair it. He tells you what others would do, he tells you what he would do, and listens to your concerns to form the right plan for your body. Everyone else in the office is beyond helpful. When it comes to surgery, the team guides you through every step of preparation and recovery. I recommend Dr. Feldman immediately to all friends in need of an orthopedist.
Very professional and good
Office is clean and beautiful. Staff is warm, efficient, and knowledgeable. I was called, X-rays taken, examined, and out in under an hour. Highly recommend.
