We have seen Dr. Velazquez-Santiago previously and he is always very informative and attentive to details. My daughter is a competitive gymnast and he takes into consideration her activity level and that she’s still a kid. I would definitely recommend him!

Our visit with Dr. Velazquez was excellent, as usual. His bedside manner is great and he always remembers the kids! Our wait was abnormally long (> 45 minutes) to get into the patient room; i'll give them a pass this time, since it was the first long wait in over two years. Beacon is still our favorite place for ortho visits!

Dr. Angel Velazquez practices Primary Care Sports Medicine and non-operative Orthopaedics. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Northern Kentucky. Dr. Velazquez then went on to perform his Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at both Bethesda Family Medicine located here in Cincinnati, (where he is now an Assistant Professor in their Primary Care Sports Medicine program) and Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine.
In addition to treating patients of all ages with musculoskeletal and orthopaedic injuries, Dr. Angel Velazquez is in his second season as Assistant Medical Director and Associate Team Physician for the Cincinnati Reds. He also serves as the team physician for Clinton Massie High School as well as assists Dr. Kremchek with Wilmington College, Wilmington High School, Wittenberg University, Archbishop Moeller, Kings High School, Princeton High School and Madeira High School.
Dr. Velazquez has a special interest in Regenerative Medicine which involves using biologics such as Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and stem cells to treat acute and chronic injuries non-surgically.
Dr. Angel Velazquez sees patients at our Summit Woods location in Sharonville, OH and our Beacon Wilmington location at the Center for Sports Sciences.
