About Dr. George Matic
Dr. Kremchek handpicked Dr. George Matic specifically to work alongside him to provide continuity of care to his patients in his absence. He has been published in peer-reviewed journals six times and presented research at national conferences including the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (AMSSM), Mid-America Orthopaedic Association (MAOA), Family Medicine Education Consortium (FMEC), Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM), and the Cap City Sports Medicine Symposium.
He has served as a team physician for his alma mater and residency institution, as well as for the Columbus Clippers (the AAA affiliate of the Cleveland Indians), Capital University, University of Dayton, and Olentangy and Beavercreek High Schools. There, he treated athletes across football, volleyball, cross country, track and field, rowing, swimming and diving, ice hockey, and wrestling.

Entering the building was awful. The office of Dr Matic was a par 3 golf hole from the only entrance and no one asked me if I needed assistance.
Once checked in, the staff was knowledgeable and courteous. I was particularly impressed with the assistance/resident for Dr Matic who gave me the least painful shot in the kneed I have ever had, and I have had more than a few.

Dr Matic was right on time and quickly diagnosed my son's injury. I felt confident in his judgement. The whole experience with the staff was friendly and efficient. Very surprised how quickly the team got us in, performed the initial consult (PA), took an X-Ray, examined the injury (Dr Matic) and wrote a prescription. The DA then immediately phoned in the prescription and communicated with the school trainer so that my son could begin physical therapy the same day.

He was on time and they nurses to the doctor not just addressed the parent but made the athlete feel more apart of the appointment whereas many docs address the parent before the patient.
He gave easy guidelines and was very reasonable. He understands athletic injuries.

I scheduled an appointment for steroid injection to address current problem with my hip until I could schedule a hip replacement. Dr Matic checked with my preferred surgeon to make sure the injection would not affect my potential for replacement surgery. His concern for my best interest is appreciated. It added to the time required for my injection appointment; but was absolutely appreciated as the proper approach.
