Angela Appleman, O.D. grew up in Illinois, and received her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She graduated optometry school from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago in 2008. Dr. Appleman recently moved to San Antonio from Savannah, Georgia with her husband, an Army optometrist, and her two young boys. In Georgia, Dr. Appleman thrived as a primary care optometrist while treating ocular disease and correcting refractive error in patients of all ages. She remains passionate about serving others in her community and abroad. Dr. Appleman recently traveled to Belize to provide vision correction and basic eye care for those in need.
