Dr. DeSantis grew up in a southern suburb of Houston, Texas. She continued her education in the lone star state until residency when she moved out of Texas for the first time. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mercy Hospital in Chicago, IL. While at Mercy, she received the Resident Achievement Award from the Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons and the Special Resident in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Award from the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
Her training in Chicago has given her a greatly diverse education, which has allowed her experience in a full range of obstetrics and gynecology. She is especially interested in the importance of the patient-provider relationship. She is devoted to the education of her patients and the philosophy of partnered decision-making is at the core of her practice to provide the best possible care.

If we are not contracted, or are out-of network, our office will quote you with self-pay charges depending on the type of visit scheduled. Please also note there is a credit card fee of $1, or 1% for charges over $100. This fee does not apply to cash or checks. We have an open parking lot at no charge. We currently send labs to ProPath. Having a conversation with a doctor can be daunting and nerve-wracking, but Dr. DeSantis made me feel incredibly comfortable. The wait time was better than what I'm normally accustomed to and her bedside manner was great. It was more like I was talking to a friend who actually cared about my well-being rather than a doctor. Although I've only had one visit, I'll be a patient for as long as I can :) Totally would recommend!
