Dr. Anne Scott graduated from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, OR in 1993 and has practiced in Vancouver, WA since 1994. As a primary care physician in Washington State, Dr. Scott has full diagnostic and prescriptive privileges although she reserves the use of pharmaceuticals as a last choice.
Dr. Scott was drawn to natural medicine by the onset of severe allergies and chronic sinus infections in her late twenties while she lived in a Colorado mountain community. After many rounds of antibiotics, allergy shots and numerous side effects, it occurred to her there must be a better way to support her immune system. This led her to the study of nutrition and herbal medicine resulting in her own health improvement—and eventually to the decision to gain professional training in naturopathy.
Dr. Scott believes a good working rapport between the doctor and the patient is essential for the healing process. She enjoys listensing closely to what her patients tell her, as well as the opportunity to educate her patients on healthy lifestyle choices and natural healthcare.
Dr. Scott has spoken about naturopathic medicine for numerous professional organizations such as Southwest Medical Center and at health fairs in addition to teaching nutrition classes at Clark Community College. An avid communicator, she is available for speaking engagements.

She is the doctor I've always needed! She did not rush me nor did she push a prescription. She listened with patience and addressed the source of my condition rather than just trying to treat symptoms. I feel very confident in her diagnosis and our agreed path to recovery. She has a great sense of humor that put me at ease. I've been searching for a physician just like her. If it wasn't weird I would have hugged her. :)
