A Georgia native, Annie graduated from Georgia Baptist College of Nursing of Mercer University in Atlanta with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She earned her Master's degree as an adult nurse practitioner from University of Colorado, Denver, in Aurora. Annie is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. The majority of her medical career has been centered on cardiac care. Prior to joining the Heart Institute of Colorado she worked as an RN in the ICU at SCL Health's Lutheran Medical Center in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. During this time she spent three months in Santiago, Chile as a medical volunteer. Annie works with the cardiology group at its Saint Joseph location.
A true "Georgia Peach," Annie is outgoing and adventurous. Upon moving to Colorado she spent five weeks hiking the Colorado trail. During her free time, Annie, her husband, and two dogs can be found hiking, rafting or snowboarding in the mountains.
