About Dr. Mustafa Moazam
I completed my medical education at Deccan College of Medical Sciences, earning my Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. I then pursued my residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Oklahoma, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at Akron Children?s Hospital. I chose El Paso because of its large rural population and because it felt like home when I first moved here. I quickly became involved in the community and culture of El Paso and have contributed to many charitable organizations.
I enjoy spending time with my family and playing golf and tennis. In our office, we perform a wide range of procedures, including vision checks, ear cleaning, EKGs, and more. Although I have specialized training in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Hematology and Oncology, most of my patients come for primary care.
At Healthy Horizons Clinic, we use genetic testing to apply precision medicine?not just prescribing medicine by trial but knowing it will work based on your genes. Establishing this clinic, which provides patients with the most complete care often missing from private practices, is my greatest achievement. My patients come from El Paso and nearby cities like Las Cruces, Alamogordo, and Socorro.

Set up appointement still had to wait hours before being seen. Did online check in but was still required to sign exact same paperwork i did online. Horrible and fustrating office. Doctor was quick straight to the point shares the good and bad news professionally.

Showed up 10 mind early to our appointment and no one was at the reception desk, we had to walk in to the patient rooms to get some assistance and were told to wait until after 5 for somebody to show up. Waited an entire hour before being seen. Great doctor just waiting time and staff could use more work.

Dr Moazam is a very intelligent, but personal man. He has not only helped my family physically, but also has walked with us through our mental healing process. We like Dr. Mustafa and trust his analysis on the whole family but what needs to change is the time we have to wait to see him. We drive over 15 minutes to get to his office and " our scheduled appointment time should be honored and we should not wait especially as manny times as we go see him; information for the repeated questions every time we visit should not be ask.
We had an appointment at 7:40pm we arrived at 6:45pm , almost 1 hour before our scheduled appt. we did not get seen until 8:30 pm. Though we are not in the medical field but the time management of processing and analyzing patient needs to be looked at for quicker processing.

The doctor is very nice however his staff is very unorganized between my time in the waiting room and back with the doctor I spent over two hours and twenty eight minutes for a cold diagnosis. I pre checked in online and the office couldn't find my paper work I would recommend that this be changed as I will not be coming back if it does not because I do not have the time to waste sitting in the office
