Dr. Azar takes a holistic approach and has done lots of research into alternative medicine, which I appreciate. He never rushes through the appointment and answers questions in detail.

The doctor seems good, overall he was polite and thorough. He took my blood and was very good at it, no pain! The waiting time however is pretty bad, if you don't have time to waste then you should look forsomeone else. Expect to wait between 30 minutes to 1 hour. They obviously overbook.

Dr. Azar is always brilliant. The wait to see him is short and he really cares about his patients. I recommend him to all of my friends when they are looking for a great doctor. Anyone who thinks otherwise needs a therapist, not a doctor.

The wait was really long and there was an extremely obnoxious patient having a very loud phone call in the waiting room for at least half of my hour-plus long wait—I would have appreciated the receptionist asking him to be respectfulof other patients. That said, I had a great visit with Dr. Azar and would highly recommend him. He was very personable and made me feel at ease when I was very anxious about what ailment I might have. He also took time to explain some of the science behind his diagnosis when I asked, which was very nice and also reinforced my confidence in him as a medical professional.

I went in for an annual physical. Wait was a little longer than expected but that's because there was only one receptionist working and she kept getting phone calls all morning. Once I got to see Dr. Azar though, it wasgreat! He's super friendly and tries to get you to loosen up with some small talk and jokes. He personally drew my blood, which surprised me. Normally I thought doctors just let nurses do that now. I like that he was so personal and hands-on even though I only went in for a physical and had no complaints. I would definitely come back again!

Dr. Azar has become my go-to physician. He takes his time to listen to each of his patients' needs and offer not just a diagnosis, but an interpretation as well. It's great to be able to understand what's happening, how itstarted, and what you can do about it, and Dr. Azar seems to understand this in a way no other doctor has, at least in my experience. Wait times in his office can be somewhat long, but if you schedule an appointment for late in the day, that is expected virtually everywhere.

Went for an annual physical and was unimpressed. I chose him based on the good reviews and that he seems to do some non-traditional and experimental stuff. Kind of cursory, quick check, no in-depth discussion of my health. There was noone else there, so no reason not to spend some time talking with me. I was charged for a specialist visit even though a physical should have been covered for free under my plan. And to top it all, they never got back to me with any of my test results.

Admittedly, one might be tempted to give a poor review so that no one else will want to visit my favorite NYC physician! But I could never do that to Dr. Azar. He is an excellent and very understanding physician whois well qualified to assist with a range of potential issues--in my case, from anxiety to blood clotting to a rather unique food allergy--and IMO, very responsible yet open-minded in his approaches to treatment, depending on your specific needs and interests. I've never felt pressured into any particular treatment or medication, and he truly respects your individual interests and concerns. Yes, his office can be rather busy, but it only speaks to the excellent quality of service he provides and his exceptional "bedside manner." So at the risk of over-running my favorite physician, I must say, he has become my go-to physician in NYC, and I recommend him whole-heartedly. (Just one final little pro-tip, if I may: although it may be easy to book an appointment on ZocDoc (there *appear* to be many open slots), in practice I find it can be a bit of a wait--but, much like with flights, I've found that the earlier in the morning you book, the less likely you are to face delays. ...Still, even longer delays rarely exceed 30 minutes.)

Great visit! Dr. Anthony Adar is a great doctor, made me feel very comfortable and even made jokes as well. I did find something strange though, the older female that works there barged into the room without knocking and interrupted toask questions but she was very rude to him. It was very noticeable that there was a strange tension going on. She also doesn’t know when a new patient has filled out paperwork or not on Zocdoc and when she’s told so, she would rudely reply with “well there’s two consent forms then” That was the most uncomfortable part of the visit but both Dr. Anthony and his assistant was very informative and treated me well!

I like the doctor, but every single time I go to the office, I have to wait forever for the front desk. And they are really hard to get in touch with. when I called, the front desk person said, "Iwill call you right back" but never called me back. I have tried three times, but still having a hard time to get them on the phone long enough to ask a question! it can be a little bit frustrating.

Dr. Azar is very personable, I went there for my general check up. Unfortunately every time he submitted things to a lab to be tested, which was three times, he requested testing that he did not discuss with me and Idid not authorize, leading to bills that were quite high for services I did not want. I was able to rectify parts by putting a claim in with my insurance company. However, Dr. Azar continued this practice even after I specifically requested not to have any additional testing done outside of what he talked about with me. I will not be returning.
