About Dr. Anthony Battista

Dr. Battista earned a B.S. in Biology at St. John’s University and received his medical degree Sum Laude from SUNY Brooklyn Health Science Centers. He did his training in pediatrics at the Steve & Alexandra Cohen Children’s Medical Center in New Hyde Park and is Board Certified in Pediatrics. He had practiced Pediatrics in Mineola for 24 years before moving to Garden City in 2008. He is a Clinical Instructor of Pediatrics at Hofstra University Medical School. He has served as President of the Nassau Pediatric Society and President of the American Academy of Pediatrics New York Chapter 2. Dr. Battista is currently a member of the Nassau County Board of Health and President of the Nassau County Medical Society. Dr. Battista serves as a Physician Leader of Allied Physicians Group.
