Comfortable office --- was in the examining room within 5 minutes of scheduled appointment. (Amazing -- experience with other specialists is often lengthy waits). Was thorough in explaining my condition and provided clear instructions/guidance on next steps.

What did I think about my visit with Dr. Geraci? I think, Dr. Anthony Geraci is more than just a brilliant neurologist - he is an amazing human being. Enough said. Doctors like him are hard to find - I speak from a horrible personal experience in a past. Dr. Geraci is t-h-e B-e-s-t. Simple as that. His office staff is great also. Yes, I am his biggest fan. Highly recommended!

More about Dr. Anthony Geraci, MD

Sometimes I am asked why I went into neurology. The answer: in my third year of medical school, after having thoroughly enjoyed the basic science of the brain (when most students couldn't wait for it to be over!) I spent time in an intensive care unit. During those two weeks I took care of many patients in coma, on respirators and most were very ill indeed. It was during that rotation that I discovered that each patient had something to teach me. Something to teach me about their nervous system, how their brains functioned even during coma, and how they improved or worsened. Even though most could not speak to me or tell me about their ills, I could look into their eyes, examine their deepest reflexes and garner a wealth of information about the function of their brains and spinal cords. I will be forever grateful to those patients and what they taught me. It was during that period of my training that I began to understand the fantastic power of the human brain. I have spent the rest of my career learning and discovering the fascinating organ in our heads we call our brains. My hope is that by reading my blog and seeing the periodic news items that I am part of, you will get a peek into who I am and why I do what I do. I am here to help the patient with 20 years of migraine and to hold the hand of the sick patient with an incurable neurological illness. In either case, and for all those in the middle, we want to provide a comfortable and welcoming place to provide what for most people can be a very anxiety-provoking experience: a visit to the neurologist.

Excellent explanation and communication, I really felt heard and like he had only my best interest in mind
Excellent doctor. Very understanding and thorough. Already feel better just after leaving the office.
Dr Geraci took the time to listen to me , and explained in detail what was going on with me

He was professional and personable. I actually look forward to my next appointment!
Dr. Geraci very professional and kind. Will definite recommend. Thank you.
Good doctor, but will send you for a battery of expensive tests off the bat.
I felt really comfortable discussing everything and he really listened.

Dr. Geraci himself was pleasant, maybe a bit standoffish, but very professional and I trust his opinion. His office staff however was an entirely different issue!!! They were extremely unprofessional with their loud inappropriate chatter. The office is small so you can hear everything. When I'm stressed about a possible medical condition, I don't need to hear them discussing how many shots they had while out or singing to themselves and giggling incessantly. The girl at the front desk seemed unprofessional, air headed and immature with her constant laughing and was dressed sloppily. It ws a total turnoff and hurts the office credibility.

Went into his office after having seen 4 doctors previously. Dr. Geraci listened to all my symptoms, took extensive notes and was sympathetic when I started to tear up while relating my experiences with previous doctors. He is thorough and had excellent bedside manner. Thoroughly recommend!
One of the best doctors I've ever had! I've dealt with many doctors prior meeting Dr. Geraci, and just when I thought my case was hopeless, Dr. Geraci gave me new hope. He cares. He listens, He helps. In addition to being exceptionally knowledgeable, Dr. Geraci is a wonderful, kind person. To find that in doctors these days is rare. Highly recommended! I wish I've met him sooner - I am positive I would've been in such poor physical condition, which I am in at the moment. I believe Dr. Geraci will help me get "back on my feet" - literally ...

Solid experience with both the doctor and staff.

Dr. Geraci was very friendly and frank. He sat and explained things to me. I did not feel at all rushed. This was one of the best doctor experiences that I've ever had.
Aside from the confusion before my appointment (computer problems) and after (communications of the doctor's orders amongst the staff), I had a very good experience with Dr. Geraci and I look forward to working with him to handle my medical issue.
While my appointment with Dr. Geraci went well, he wasn't available for me when I had an urgent question regarding my medication. I will be looking for someone else in the future.
First visit was a good experience - he was not pretentious in the least bit, but rather attentive and diligent. Also enjoyed his sense of humor. Would recommend.
I really enjoyed meeting Dr. Geraci. He is personable, easy to communicate with, and very thorough...overall a great doctor. I highly recommend him.
I love the staff and the waiting room.

What a relief it was for me. I was very much up against a time constraint as my surgery was scheduled for to-morrow and would have been cancelled had I not been able to find a competent doctor willing to do a rush examination at short notice. He was great!
