Considering the horrible service I received the same day from a previous doctor, I was not very happy having to see someone else. I was pleasantly surprised that after filling out my forms in less than 5 minutes I was taken to the exam room. Then, about a minute later the doctor came in. The whole procedure took about 20 minutes at the most. The doctor was so friendly, the nurses were friendly, and the receptionists were friendly. I would definitely choose this clinic again.

Anthony Vecchia, a Queens native, upon graduating from medical school in 1998, completed an internship in general surgery as well as a neurosurgical/trauma fellowship at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx. He then decided on switching to emergency medicine and completed a residency at Jacobi in 2004.
Dr. Vecchia has worked as an attending physician at Mercy Medical Center and is now assistant director of the emergency room at Eastern Long Island Hospital in Greenport. He began working at Premier Care in 2011 and continues to work in both the urgent care and ER settings.
When not practicing medicine, he dedicates much of his time serving on the board of trustees for the Williams Syndrome Association as well as going out to fundraise and spread awareness. Dr. Vecchia still lives in Queens with his wife and 3 daughters. He enjoys his time home with his daughters and an occasional night out on the town with his wife.
