About Dr. Jin Song
Dr. Jin Song is a board-certified internist who provides primary care to patients in Flushing and its neighboring areas in Queens, New York. Dr. Song's office is conveniently located on the second floor of the Landmark Building at 41-60 Main Street, the center of Flushing (opposite the Flushing Post Office). The office is open Monday to Thursday from 9 AM to 5:30 PM. The staff is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. We accept the majority of medical insurances and also offer discounts for self-pay patients.
Dr. Song earned her medical degree from Nanjing Medical University in China, graduating with honors. She also received research training and earned a PhD in Vascular Physiology and Pharmacology from the University of South Dakota, Sanford School of Medicine, focusing on advanced research in hypertension and associated therapies. Dr. Song completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons, Saint Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York, and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Song has worked as an attending physician in many hospitals throughout the Tri-state area, including New York and Connecticut, delivering exceptional medical care to patients from diverse ethnic and economic backgrounds. With many years of clinical experience in both hospital and outpatient settings, her care is highly valued by patients and their families. I scheduled a video visit. At the appointment time, nothing happened so I called the office. They had a server error and we were not able to connect online. I had a brief conversation with the doctor over the phone. I just need to get a prescription for antibiotics to treat UTI as soon as possible, so I asked for it. 30 minutes later, I got another phone call from the office because they were still attempting to connect online. It failed again. About 2 hours after the appointment time, I finally got a call from my pharmacy to pick up the medication. It was more stressful than I had hoped, especially when I needed immediate care and I knew what needed to be done for that. It was difficult to communicate with the receptionist and the doctor, too.
