As a young boy in India, Dr. Shah was surrounded by doctors in his family. He witnessed his first birth at age 12, which he found to be an incredible experience. “Still today, every birth I am present for is equally amazing as that first one was”.
Dr. Shah completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Grant Government Medical College and Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals in Mumbai, India. He attended residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Newark Beth Israel Medical School in New York, followed by an academic fellowship at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. Most recently, Dr. Shah has attended a minimally-invasive Pelvic Surgery fellowship at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA while simultaneously working as a clinical instructor at Tufts University’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Shah partners together with his colleagues, including his wife, Dr. Parul Nagar, to ensure that all patients receive comprehensive, quality care. Dr. Shah’s honest and straightforward approach is appreciated by his patients, who enjoy working together with the doctor to understand and select their optimal care options.
