Dr. Arieh Greenbaum is a cardiologist and currently a part of Valley Medical Group- Cardiology, Westwood. He sees patients for several reasons including chest pain, shortness of breath and palpitations. He specializes in preventive cardiology as well as the diagnosis and treatment of multiple diseases including hypertension, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease and heart failure. Dr. Greenbaum attended Yeshiva University, where he acquired his bachelor's degree majoring in chemistry, and completing an honors thesis in biophysics exploring the crystallization of proteins. He received his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at the Mount Sinai Hospital. He completed cardiology fellowship serving as chief fellow at Montefiore Medical Center. He is board certified in internal medicine and cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has extensive experience performing and interpreting exercise and pharmacological stress tests, nuclear stress tests, EKGs, and echocardiograms.
