Dr. Arthur Brantz is a board certified Obstetrics/Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics/Gynecology. Dr. Brantz has transitioned his focus to include Adult Primary Care with the emphasis of treating the "whole" patient in a compassionate and caring, non-judgmental environment. He started medical school in Guadalajara, Mexico, and completed his medical training in the State of University of New York, Downstate, in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Brantz brings a wealth of knowledge on various community service efforts which include the geographic areas of DC, Virginia, Maryland and Delaware. In the past twelve years he has served on the board, as well as past president, with the Tourette Syndrome Association of the Greater Washington Area. He is active in volunteer work focusing on providing free medical, surgical and dental care to needy patients. He has most recently received the Compassionate Doctor Recognition award for 2010 to 2012, as well as Patients' Choice Award for 2009, 2011-2012. He is fluent in Spanish.

I've had two appointments at this office and both times I had to wait a little over an hour. He was nice enough, but my time is valuable. I had my annual pap smear and had to make another appointment to get on birth control. Um, that was a first. It was also an appointment to see what kind of birth control I should get on and then another appointment to actually get it. No thank you, I've been recommended to another doctor. Such a waste of time and money. Too bad because he was so nice.

His assistants, front desk and nurses, are very gentle and welcoming.

He is not a traditional doctor, he is very kind, very communicative and he listens what you have to say.
I highly reccomend him, I do not think there is another family doctor who can give a smile and find an answer to whatever you ask.
