Dr. Medina received his Doctorate of Optometry in 1972 and was appointed to the faculty of the University of Houston College of Optometry. In 1983, Dr. Medina established a solo practice in San Antonio, TX, where he still resides today.
His experience with pre- and post-operative care of cataract and refractive surgery patients led to referral relationships with leading ophthalmic surgeons throughout Texas and the western United States. Dr. Medina has a national reputation in refractive surgery evaluation, eye disease, and difficult-to-fit contact lenses.
