I’ve seen many providers over the years, and Ms. Rios has easily been one of the most compassionate and attentive clinicians I’ve met. She actually listens and not just to symptoms, but to how I’m feeling and what I need to function better day to day. She takes the time to explain medication options, check in about side effects, and adjust the plan collaboratively. Every session feels productive and supportive, never rushed. I truly feel heard, respected, and understood. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful, professional, and caring mental health provider.

My experience with Azkena was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. She took the time to really listen, not just to my symptoms, but to me as a person. Azkena made me feel seen, understood, and valued, which is something I haven’t felt in a long time with other providers. Instead of rushing through the visit, she asked thoughtful questions, explained everything clearly, and worked with me to create a plan that actually fits my life.
What stood out the most was how genuine and compassionate she was. Azkena treats you like a human being, not just another patient. You can tell she truly cares about helping her patients heal and feel better. I left the office feeling hopeful and supported, and that’s priceless.
If you’re looking for a psychiatrist who truly listens, understands, and genuinely cares, I can’t recommend Azkena enough.
