Tabatha Sapene, LISW-S

Psychotherapist
OH
Hi there, I'm Tabatha! My name is Tabby Sapene, and I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker Supervisor (LISW-S) working with clients statewide in Ohio via telehealth. I work with adults and adolescents, specializing in anxiety, stress, generational trauma, and mind, body, emotion, and spiritual balance. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and other modalities to help my clients make progress toward being the best version of themselves. My approach My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each client I work with. I have over 24 years of experience, utilizing CBT, Brain-Based Therapy, Neuroscience, Neuroimmunology, EFT Tapping, a Certificate in Spirituality, Health & Healing, Guided Meditation/Guided Imagery, Play, Art, Small Animal & Equine Therapy, among other modalities. These tools help both myself and the client build a shared understanding of what issues need to be addressed and allow us to work together to create a healthy way forward. My focus I have found that my style and approach are a good fit for adults, young adults, and teens who may be dealing with the challenges of life transitions and generational trauma. This often takes the form of anxiety, depression, stress, and lack of self-love and coping skills. I work to help my clients navigate these transition periods and build skills that allow them to feel better about themselves, develop a more positive outlook on life, and navigate through life more grounded and secure in themselves. My communication style My communication style is calm, accommodating, and personable. I want my clients to feel comfortable talking with me about anything. Many of my former clients state that I have a ?motherly, nurturing energy,? which I use to hold the space for sessions and also to help clients see different approaches they can use for healing. I earned my Master's in Social Work from The Ohio State University and my Bachelor's degree from Capital University.
