I absolutely love Dr. Stumacher. She is smart, friendly, nurturing, fully invested in my health and really listens. She also makes the time to follow up with you and make sure you're clear on all of your tests results, meds and health recommendations. The PA's, nurses, and NPs are fantastic. Always friendly and professional. The entire staff is efficient, knowledgeable and make you feel welcome and safe. The phlebotomists are absolutely amazing (literally the best blood draw ever)!

Barbara L. Stumacher, MD is a board-certified internist who has practiced internal medicine on Long Island since 1989. She grew up on the South Shore of Long Island and graduated from Adelphi University with a BS in Biology, Summa Cum Laude. She attended Buffalo Medical School, and then went on to do her Internship and Residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. Following residency, she worked in a private Internal Medicine practice in Manhattan and was an attending physician at Beth Israel Medical Center before moving back to Long Island. She also worked for several years in an urgent care facility and has experience in travel medicine.
Dr. Stumacher takes her time to listen to and evaluate her patients in order to develop an individualized treatment plan to address current medical issues. She feels it is important to educate her patients and focus on preventative medicine to promote wellness.
