I was seen promptly, an assistant took my vital signs and weighed me. The doctor reviewed the relevant information and made plans to see me in June, to have my next Prolia treatment also in June.
I don't like to have clerks yell my first name in order to call me for my appointment. I was also distressed that a man was talking--I mean shouting--to a desk clerk and that he was sitting there with his mask below his chin until I complained to somebody.

I was able to sign in on an iPad, I waited less than 5 minutes to be seen by the nurse (before my scheduled appointment time!) and waited only a couple of minutes to see Dr Weinstein.
She listened and asked many questions, really getting the whole picture straight before providing any opinions and for the first time in years I felt like I was finally in good hands to help manage my thyroid condition. She’s extremely knowledgable, kind, and empathic. Just a fantastic physician.

I was pleased by my first visit with Dr. Weinstein. My standards are quite high due to the top tier care provided by my former endocrinologist, Dr. R. W. of the Joslin Diabetes Center In Syracuse, NY. Mt. Sinai was very organized and efficient with digital kiosk check-in and copay processing. I was taken in very quickly and prepped by the medical assistant. Dr. Weinstein asked the right questions, took a good history, and had a personable bedside manner. I am used to having my Carelink profile analyzed more thoroughly using daily glucose data, but Dr. Weinstein’s analysis was appropriate considering the fewer adjustments now possible with the 670G and the improvements in my data which were much tighter than under Joslin care due to the new device. My next three month follow-up is scheduled with the practice NP CDE rather than the MD, but I’m ok with that.

Dr. Weinstein was quite professional and efficient. She listened patiently and she typed notes on the computer as we talked. This was my first visit, where she just ordered some blood tests and a sonogram. I will update after these results will be available and I get to speak to her over the phone about them...
