Dr. Patterson never got closer to see the rash I had on my body and the prescription was never sent to the pharmacy. I called like 5 times. they put me on hold for about 40 minutes the first time. then the other times they said they sent it, but that was not true. so I paid for a consult that I never received, plus I waisted my time.

She is very serious, including towards her new patients. She doesn't smile AT ALL. When I was there today for a follow up she didn't even check my skin like the rest of my past dermatologists. I also felt like I was rushed so that's why she only asked me if my skin is improving. I also wanted her opinion of an acne supplement called "True Clear". When she looked it up, she wasn't looking properly for information. Once she saw one piece of information, she says it's okay for me to use. Overall, I dislike her poor bedside manner. I don't recommend her.

This office was strange in appearance. She also was very quiet, not helpful, and did not truly understand my skin problem. I am beginning to believe Dermatologists are pointless with improving skin issues. They solely administer poisons, with no real guarantee for success. I would not ever visit this doctor again.

Dr. Patterson LISTENED to my concerns and was timely in seeing me, once I went into the room to be seen. I have seen her twice since my initial visit in April (follow-up visit was in June). Her receptionist, Sherly, is ALWAYS extremely pleasant and willing to assist, where she can. I am looking forward to my follow-up next week.

Despite her positive reviews, I would say she is rude and unpleasant. No apologies for the long wait, though her reception apologized. Dr'.'s advice was not sympathetic, it seemed as if I was a burden on her day. She wrote me a prescription for two very pricy prescriptions, then final wrote me a prescription for the very commonly marketed BP. My acne is not bad, all I needed was advice. Most likely will not be going back. Good luck to all of you struggling with acne!

I chose this doctor because she was African American and I thought she would be able to really help mewith understanding any different dynamics in the makeup of our skin and how to, once and for all, help me in my 30 year battle with my skin problems. I'm saddened that I was not really impressed. She never really examined my face just gave a brief overview from afar. Doctors don't actually touch your skin anymore??? Never asked about my history with acne or discussed diet. Nothing that I thought would be needed to know to access my skin. She dictated to her assistant what to prescribe for me and walked out of the room. She didn't even say good bye; just yelled through the closing door, "See you in a month!"

I arrived about 15 minutes before my appointment time and had to wait and still had to wait almost an hour to be seen. And while I was waiting I saw Dr Patterson casually strolling up and down the hallway on two occasions. Then when I finally got called in she basically just glanced at my skin before prescribing me three medications which ended up doing nothing. Every thing felt very rushed and I was quite displeased because I was really looking forward to my very first dermatology appointment. If I had 10 thumbs she'd get 10 down.

All i know is that I felt rushed. Like she had a lot to do. In addition, the front desk gave my ID to someone else that looked nothing like me.I had to wait like 3 days to get it back from the person. Its sad that I will not go back.

I had a 9am apt she didn't get into the office until 10am and wasn't seen until 10:30 only to be looked at for 10mins. I also went for her hair lost injections, and she was by far the roughest specialist I've been to. Im not sure if I'll be returning to my next schedule appointment.

She is very unprofessional and rude. The nurse or pct am not even sure what she was is the one who enters your prescription into the computer and other notes. Increasing your chance of medication error. I waited over an hour and the dermatologist spent less than 5mins all the while standing by the door ready to go back out. All she was interested in was prescribing acne medication when that was not my main concern. She was very unpleasant to talk to and in a hurry when there was no other patient behind me waiting on her. Maybe in a hurry to eat or something, which no patient should ever feel that way.There was only one patient ahead of me and yet I had to wait an hour which was surprising to me since she spends less that 5 mins with her patients. She needs to take a refresher cause on patient centered care and bedside manners. I will definitely request a copy of my bill because I have no idea what she should even be billing me for.

Very nice, the girls there are pleasant sweet, and very helpful. They get back to you right away. A good notions since my insurance wasn't going through they kept me notify and called to alert me of prescriptions and appointment changes due to delay in receiving my prescriptions.
