“Bethany Medical Clinic of New York is incredible. The office is clean and the staff are kind and efficient. Dr. Krystal was great. She provided the full scope of my derma issues and recovery plans. I admired that she was willing to talk openly about various remedy approaches - not just medicine, but also diet, mental, and lifestyle. I feel confident about what's next for me!”

Would have loved to be seen by the doctor. It’s unprofessional and unfair to present as though I’m booking with the doctor, only to be seen by a completely different PA. When I called to ask why I was receiving communication from the office to be seen by the PA and not the Doctor, they said that the doctor has no openings for the month. I couldn’t wait around an entire month to reschedule, so I moved forward with the appointment. The PA explained everything well, put through my scripts and I’m meant to have a follow up with her. I think that if the doctor is unavailable, then their bookings shouldn’t appear as open. I don’t know if there’s the equivalent of false advertising when it comes to medical appointments. It’s unprofessional, and honestly they should refund the copay.
I was on the phone waiting for my video chat and they took another call so no I am not happy. I was never seen so treatment was never given.

So I booked my appointment specifically with Dr.Mitchell so imagine my surprise when someone named Ashley was the provider for the visit! I was truly taken aback because at no point was I informed that I would not be seen by Dr.Mitchell. While Ashley was very thorough and answered all my questions, having a patient think they’re going to see the person they booked with only to meet with someone they never agreed to is very dishonest so for that reason I doubt I’ll return.

Virtual Visit: I didn't meet with Krystal Mitchell, who I originally scheduled my visit with. Instead, I was seen by a physician assistant. Usually, when I book an appointment through ZocDoc, a notice appears before confirming the appointment if I will be meeting with someone other than the listed physician. In this case, no such notice appeared. When I met with the PA, I asked who she was and inquired about Dr. Mitchell’s whereabouts and why I wasn’t meeting with her. The PA explained that she sees whichever patients are scheduled for her. I informed her that I specifically booked my appointment with Dr. Mitchell. She then explained that ZocDoc notes and that if I wanted to reschedule to meet with Dr. Mitchell, I could do so—but the doctor would not be available for another month. I did the appointment and received my medication refills, but I was disappointed and thrown off by the interaction with the PA, including her tone and her response to my initial question.

I was seen by Ashley and she is awesome! Took her time to do a thorough exam and answered all my questions. I had a great experience. Highly recommend!
I was seem for a skin cancer screening by Ashley Doerler,PA-C who was very professional and efficient, and put me at ease with her natural manner. The exam room had natural light and felt clean. The reception area is a little stuffy but that’s okay. The staff was helpful Ana friendly.

Dr. Mitchell was amazing to meet with. She listened to everything I was concerned about and provided me with a detailed treatment plan. The office was great…the location I went to was in a brownstone like building and had 2 floors. Very comfortable seats in the waiting area. And all of the staff I spoke to were really friendly and helpful.
Great first visit highly recommend.
I did not see provider I booked with, and at first, I was reluctant to continue appointment. Called office and sp9ke to Natalie. She was so authentic and kind, so I decided to continue with appt. Glad I went though because Ashley was great and a good communicator of options.
