His demeanor was professional while also being warm and welcoming. It was our first appointment together but I felt we developed quick rapport. His evening availability hours are a rare find and incredibly helpful for mental health management.

We were for a Video visit but ultimately ended up talking on the phone. I was delighted to be able to understand him so well when he speaks. I was concerned. He had good ideas and thoughts. I thought he was going to be the physiatrist to treat to treat me. I learned he is the person who decides the medication and orders it. He then sent me a list of therapists I can reach out to for regularly weekly visits. Very please with Dr Bernard....thank you

I’ve been seeing this doctor for a few months and I wish I could leave a good review. However, I haven’t received a single month-long supply of medication (after 6 months of visits with Valor and spending hundred out of pocket). He always schedule follow on appointments for 30+ days in advance, leaving me 2 weeks of no treatment. I work full time and would love to be able have reliable care and standardized medication management. Be careful!

yes my name is Michael keys and the thing about my health I need help the doctor that I had she prescribed the wrong medicine gave me extra sleeping meds but I heard about you you're a great doctor you got my brother Isaiah I'm fairly and you got my mother too so my mother told me about you and and I just need I just need somebody to help me so that's why I prefer from you so that I know you will give me the right meds I was addicted to K2 and I was addicted to alcohol and weed and 11 days I never received the help

He seemed very intent on listening to me, even when I expressed more than was necessary. He reassured me many times during the session whenever I explained how difficult it has been trying to navigate these issues, and immediately had adjustments available for me- including a prescription sent to my pharmacy that was filled and covered by insurance same day. This was one of the easiest and best experiences Ive had when booking a specialist. I only wish I had known that all the documents I filled out on ZocDoc didn’t transfer to Valor Health, so the confusion caused my provider to go back through everything with me. Luckily, he was very kind and understanding while filling in the information for my profile. He also explained everything very well, ensuring I understood the “whys.” I would highly recommend this service and my provider; as I feel he gave all information thorough consideration when finding the best option for my care.
