He was nice for the few minutes you saw him. However, you will never get any follow-up, meaning it's impossible to schedule an appointment without holding for 1000 hours and if you send a message on my chart no one views them and or answers it. So you have to ask your self is it worth it.

A good experience all around. It was easy to get appointments. Appointments happened on time Dr. Parsons answered all of my questions in a way I could understand. I had a good result with my surgery and a comparatively easy time of it, which colors my evaluation.

I found him immensely informative, professional, and attentive. I did not feel the least bit rushed. His entire staff - from reception to x-ray were a delight. I can not say enough good things about his knowledge and manner; or about the office experience - especially during this pandemic era.

First-time visit. Filled out paperwork and was seen rather quickly. X rays were taken and I was seen by the resident. Quickly followed up with the doc himself to do another evaluation. very happy with the visit.

I had a wonderful appointment with Dr. Parsons. He was professional, personable and thorough, reassuring me, after looking carefully at my x-rays, that nothing was seriously wrong. I would highly recommend him as an excellent Orthopedic Surgeon.

I injured my shoulder in a bike crash in Oct. 2017 — tore my AC tendon. Parsons came highly recommended from variety of other cyclists that have had a similar injury, with the most swaying comment being: he's not biased towards surgery. In my case, he counselled me on the pluses and minuses of surgery, or rehab. I took a few days to consider, did further research and emailed back and forth with Dr P. Given my particular realities, and post-recovery goals, I opted to do surgery which he performed, replacing my torn ligaments, in an out-patient surgical center. Dr P has been an efficient and clear communicator and responds to email.

Dr. Parsons was professional and attentive. He took the time to listen to my concerns and answer all my questions regarding my injury. He provided options and explained clearly the pros and cons of each. I would definitely see him again for any issue that he could treat.
January 4, 2017Alexander K.Verified patient
Dr. Parsons only briefly reviewed a couple of views of the MRI that I brought and made conclusions without reviewing the report from the radiologist that had a full page of findings that some of my other doctors were concerned about, which is why I had this appointment. I was the last appointment of the day, and they were already two hours behind, so I felt like everyone just wanted to go home. I should have asked him to explain the MRI report and why he felt my issues were so minor. I have cervical spine issues, but the pain and numbness I have does not alone seem to be caused by my spine. I know he is an expert in his field and I certainly witnessed this first hand in his waiting room, as his patients were insisting on seeing him. Dr. Parsons has additional wait times because he takes urgencies and will help those in need out. I expect if you have severe problems with your shoulder warranting immediate surgery you will benefit from his skills. I'll need to come back if my problems get more severe; although I was trying to avoid that and get some answers - and understand why my right shoulder dislocates and why it looks so deformed when I move it certain ways- he only looked at the static pictures. I get nervous, so I too am at fault.

His professionalism and orthopedic healthcare knowledge is solid and commendable. He takes the time to listen to my concerns about my health and makes qualified and informed treatment recommendations. I trust his judgement completely and will continue to see him regarding orthopedic surgical and followup treatment.
