“Dr. Petrera is the kind of highly skilled and ethical orthopedic surgeon who seeks to explore many options to surgery, including physical therapy, before considering surgery. Extended physical therapy did work for me. I have the highest respect for Dr. Petrera as a physician. ”

Front office staff were very pleasant. That’s really only the nicest thing to say. Dr. Massimo P bedside was the most horrible bedside manner I’ve ever had. He did not listen to anything I had to say and was was quick to issue a referral to see another Dr. I don’t recommend anyone scheduling a visit with him. X-ray Mr. Clay horrible as well. Was interested being on his phone than taking an X-ray. Last but definitely not least there was a male nurse I didn’t catch is name was the most unprofessional of them all. He made me feel like I was at a meat market and I was up next to be slaughtered. He was rushing me to hurry up and get an X-ray because the Dr was about to take his lunch break. I was there on time for my appointment. They should long schedule anyone close to their lunch, nurse didn’t even take my vitals, he asked me my weight, and height. He didn’t ask about my medical history, or even asked what was the reason for my visit. I can go on and on about how angry I was.
The staff that checked me in was incredibly rude and I almost left without getting seen. I walked into the office and the receptionist looked up at me and angrily said, "Yeah?". When I gave my name and said I was there for my appointment, she bitterly said, "Right. It's YOU," as though I was someone from her past that she despised. I'm not sure why she was so nasty; I had no prior experience with this staff and I was 10 minutes early for my appointment. She then proceeded to check me in with a scowl for a minute before yelling at her coworker to "finish checking this guy in". She then stood up and turned her back to me as though I wasn't there at all. Her coworker rolled her eyes before reluctantly finishing the process. I cannot speak to how uncomfortable the entire check in process made me and I was more than tempted to just leave without being seen. The only thing that prevented me from doing so was I didn't want to get charged for a cancellation, and something tells me I would have

Very friendly doctor, seems very experienced
Dr. Petrera was great. My injury had a long background, he very patiently and attentively listened then answered my long list of questions. He then referred me to another doctor for the PRP treatment, and even contacted him to get me a sooner appointment as he knew I wanted to resolve this persisting adductor muscle inflammation asap. I couldn't ask for more.

Doctor did the minimum he saw me we talked for 5 minutes & he walked out wasn’t concerned about my pain situation & didn’t prescribed me anything to improve the situation, he insisted about getting another surgery right away didn’t even bother on treating the trauma at the moment poor visit day wasted.
Verified patient
He asked questions and listened to the answers. He seemed concerned with the problem & answers, explained what tests would be done & why. Then he explained how to move forward, what to be aware of & at what point intervention would be required. He was VERY thorough.

very positive experience
There is a lot of unrelated paperwork (like smoking history). Being able to fill it out ahead of time is great. But having to fill out the same twice, for the initial diagnosis and then again for the check-up, is unnecessary.
Not only did Dr. Petrera do an excellent job with my arthroscopic surgery and provided me with all the necessary information, guidance, and assurance leading up to it, he also continues to see me through my full and speedy recovery with the goal of getting back to my usual physical activity and sports. Coming into my first consult with him a few months back, I had so many questions and fears, but I remember Dr. Petrera answering every single one of them patiently and reassuringly. I am truly grateful for the care I have been receiving from him and rest assured that I will be in great hands come my second surgery. Truly an excellent and professional surgeon with great bedside manner!
All the staff are very courteous, the premises are super clean and comfortable and the doctor was very kind and gave me comfort.
Dr. Petrera has been amazing to me. He did a perfect job with my ACL reconstruction surgery and has been checking in on me months after surgery. I'm very happy with my results.
It was so great! Doctor helps me a lot!
Very good
Hi, this is my first time ever being referred to the professionalism of this corporation, great staff, and awesome doctor/surgen Petrera Massimo MD. Doc, PM I am so ever thankful for your determintion (MRI's), care, listening, and kindness. I hope that our paths may never cross again... (never say never) if so, I know who I'm coming to. Again, Thank you and your staff(team). Cheers, joey
It would've been helpful if they provided radiology options instead of choosing one for you. It would also be helpful if they were able to schedule it with you there so that they know when your appointment is and if the doctor will have the results in time for your follow up appointment.
THAT IN ALL SHIFTS THERE SHOULD BE MORE BILINGUAL STAFF WHO ARE HISPANIC LANGUAGE OR SPANISH. THANK YOU. MY GOD BLESS YOU.ALL VERY ATTENTIVE AND RESOURCEFUL.

Surgery consult with Dr. Petrera was both very informative and comforting. I came in with all the worries and came out of the consultation with sufficient and very clear information of how the surgery will go and the next steps. Dr. Petrera is very kind. He explained everything that we needed to know and patiently listened to my worries and concerns and addressed them accordingly. I'll be going into surgery with the assurance that I will be taken care of and with the feeling that my well-being is valued by my surgeon.
