More about Brandi Egizio, PA
Brandi Egizio earned her Physician Assistant Studies degree from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL. She attended Texas Tech and Amarillo College for her undergrad in Occupational Therapy. She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Prior to dermatology, Brandi practiced as a physician assistant in other specialties including rehabilitation medicine, internal medicine, and primary care. Her love for dermatology came early on in her training as she always enjoyed the procedures and patient interactions.
Brandi loves all aspects of dermatology and specializes in identifying and treating skin cancers. She is also passionate about educating all ages on ways to protect themselves from the sun while still enjoying their time outdoors doing activities that they love. Brandi also enjoys collaborating with her colleagues about the best treatment options for her patients.
“All of my years practicing internal medicine helps me focus in on what the skin is revealing about systemic issues”, says Brandi. “I have two teenage daughters so treating acne and helping teens and young adults feel confident in the appearance of their skin has become one of my favorite aspects of care. Also, as a middle-aged working mom, I enjoy educating my peers about things they can do to feel and look their best”.
Born and raised in the Texas panhandle, Brandi is thrilled to be in central Texas with her husband and children. In her spare time, she enjoys distance running and spending time with her family.
