Dr. Astudillo received her medical degree from Iberoamerican University, School of Medicine, Dominican Republic. She completed her three year specialty in family medicine, in Bellavista Hospital, Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. Dr. Astudillo speaks fluent English and Spanish.
Dr. Astudillo has been privileged in participating in many church health clinics raising awareness and also had the opportunity in offering medical services in unprivileged areas including Haiti after natural disaster in 2010.

Even though I was early for my appointment, I was taken right into the examining room. As soon as the RN was through with the routines (weight, blood pressure, etc.), Dr. Astudillo came into the room. How refreshing it was to have no long wait! Her attention was totally on me, my questions and my concerns. I left there feeling completely examined and satisfied. (And back home, all in less than one hour!)

Dr. Astudillo is an excellent physician! I came with a list of questions for her and she answerec all of them to the letter and then some. She is very thorough and explains everything you need to know about medications, etc. She gets to know her patients. We are not a number to her. There should be more physicians like her. I can't say enough good things about her.

Dr Brandi is great! She take her name, explains things well, looks at you while talking to you, and is knowledgable about health. The office staff has a very high turn over rate. Every time I go, the staff is different. In addition, getting paper work from this office is very difficult without having an appointment. The office staff needs to be more professional and have higher standards- they should all have some type of health care credential to work in the office. In addition, thanks to meaningful you, credentialed medical assistants who allow for higher reimbursement on the business side of healthcare. Overall, love Dr. Brandi, the staff not so much.

Dr. Brandie is great and we love her, but we sure are tired of seeing different people in the reception area. At least 4 different receptionists have been hired and fired and what has happened to the the delightful "Office Manager".
Hate the fact that when a "referral" is needed, it has to go first through our primary office, then onto the Jupiter office before being submitted to the insurance company ~ EVEN WHEN MARKED "URGENT" OR "RUSH" Totally inefficient, especially when, as in my case, the referral "specialists" were on vacation, causing double inefficiency! Dr. Shikara is attempting to expand his practice before it has mastered the "crawl"!
