The medical assistant/front desk staff had all their stuff messed up. We were told when we called that ‘high school physical is free with insurance’.
Showed up
Them: oh, it’s for high school? That’s a copay
Me: I called and you said it’s covered with insurance
Them: well, front desk lady is new and doesn’t know everything…. Medical assistant was a little bit rude about it.
Me: not my problem
Me: still paying copay
Know your practices, if you’re answering questions on the phone!
I demand my copay returned!
The nurse practitioner was absolutely fantastic! She was great and apologetic for the wait.
My only problem with them is the inability to follow through with what is answered on the phone.

This is my new go to place for urgent medical situations. The office is clean, staff is friendly, and providers have been decent so far. My wait time this time was a title longer, but maybe they were understaffed. But I’m overall pleased that I was able to schedule a sports physical sane day and be seen.
