Brenda DeForrest, O.D., has been Florida Board certified since 1990. She has been practicing in Orlando for more than 20 years. She offers complete adult and pediatric eye care, including optical and contact-lens fittings, Lasik evaluations, diabetic retinopathy evaluations and glaucoma treatment. Dr. DeForrest attended the University of Florida and New England College of Optometry, graduating with honors. She completed internships around the world, including Jerusalem; Albuquerque, N.M.; and Atlanta. She completed her residency, specializing in ocular disease and postoperative care at the Magruder Eye Institure in 1990.
Dr. DeForrest is a clinical examiner for the Florida State Board of Optometry and a volunteer for Prevent Blindness Florida.
