Good, no nonsense, straight to the point kind of doctor. Even though my appointment didn't take longer than 10 min i felt that everything was explained in detail and my questions answered. The wait time could have been shorter but I'm ok with waiting if I'm satisfied with everything else. Would recommend.

Brendan L. Pillemer, M.D. is a board certified dermatologist who grew up near Rockville. He comes to The Dermatology Center from a practice in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Pillemer received his medical degree and his PhD in Immunology from the University of Pittsburgh. He also completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. Dr. Pillemer is also a member of the American Academy of Dermatology. In addition to traveling the world, Dr. Pillemer enjoys scuba diving and ice hockey. He resides in North Potomac with his family. Dr. Pillemer sees patients in our Germantown office.

Very quick appointment. I would have liked something a little more comprehensive and consultative.
The appointment did get the job done though! I went in for acne treatment and was given a thorough treatment plan. I just wish there were more lifestyle questions that would tell me what else I can change.
Also, they were going to send my prescription directly to my pharmacy. A day later the pharmacy still doesn't have the prescription. Not sure if its an issue with the system or with the pharmacy.

The wait in the office was a bit too long. But the appointment in the room with Dr. Pillemer was on target. It was very productive in the short time. If the wait time in the office was much shorter, I would give higher ratings.

My consultation with Dr. Pillemer went well. He examined my issue, we talked, he gave me some recommendations, and then he gave me a prescription that his office directly sent to my pharmacy (like magic!). Needless to say I liked that a lot. Anyway, I am to go back in one month, only if I want to... I liked that too, no pressure. I went to the Germantown office, they don't do cosmetic procedures there. Bethesda is the office where they do all the other stuff.

I needed to get a full body check, and was a little nervous that it would be awkward. Dr. Pillemer was professional, friendly, and definitely made it as not-awkward as possible! He spent a long time with me, without rushing, and answered a lot of questions I had about other skin issues. VERY highly recommend.
