About Annie Pratt
Annie Pratt is an East Coast native and is thrilled to serve patients where she grew up in the Washington, DC, area. She graduated summa cum laude from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She earned her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Shenandoah University, where she was recognized for her outstanding clinical performance. She practiced in primary care for several years, giving her a firm medical foundation before training in dermatology. Annie is passionate about delivering excellent patient-centered dermatology care. She understands that caring for skin is more than “skin deep” and focuses on both medical and cosmetic treatments to help patients achieve optimal health and beautiful outcomes. She is well-versed in how skin disease impacts overall health and treats each patient as if they were a part of her own family. Working within a team-based approach, Annie is driven to make a positive impact on each patient in helping them reach their goals. She loves performing skin cancer screenings and treating acne, psoriasis, eczema, and other inflammatory skin disorders. She also loves providing preventative and interventional anti-aging treatments and procedures. Annie is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Outside of work, Annie enjoys hiking, backpacking, and serving her community. Most of all she loves spending quality time with her wonderful daughters.

When I first went, she glanced at my nails and didn't believe I had nail fungus. I had to show results from another dermatologist to prove I had nail fungus.
After a year of treatment of Jublia, things were finally looking better. I went back to get a refill and she refused, again, just glancing at my nails saying that they are completely cured now
Well, months later, the fungus has spread again, and the painful detaching and yellowing of my nails is back. The nail strengthener she gave me instead, just made the issue worse.
I had asked for a retest to be sure it was actually cleared up, and she refused because she had "experience enough to know it was cured without testing." even though it's common knowledge it can look cleared up but still not be fully eradicated, as nail fungus is persistent and lives deep in the nail bed. A year's worth of treatment down the drain. Horribly disappointing. I have continued to call and ask for follow up treatment and gotten no answers.

I had a great experience with Annie Pratt, PA-C. She listened to my concerns and was able to clearly explain the plan going forward. I also very much appreciated the professionalism of the office staff during check-in and check-out. They were very helpful in setting up a series of follow up procedures.
