About Lauren Sukri
Lauren is a certified physician assistant specializing in dermatology. Born and raised in Maryland, Lauren attended the University of Maryland, College Park and graduated with honors in psychology and public health science. She then went on to obtain her Master’s of Health Sciences and complete her physician assistant training at Duke University. Lauren is currently a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and is working towards becoming a Diplomate Fellow. Lauren first discovered her passion for dermatology while working as a medical assistant in dermatology prior to PA school. She feels strongly for early detection and prevention of skin cancer through patient education and is an advocate for skin health concerns.

Parking was difficult and it’s a very congested med Svcs area. Other than that, my appt was handled efficiently - no wait time. Staff was friendly & competent. Provider was knowledgeable, listened to my concerns and provided a solution.

Parking was shockingly bad and expensive. $4/hr or so. And my wait time was 30 minutes after the actual appointment, even though I showed up early and was ready. I still had to wait after I got in the room. The appointment took about 5-7 minutes. Will not come here again.

Not helpful. More textbook. Which is fine however. My experience my illness has not been aligned with a textbook of knowledge. In 2022, I had two strokes that were found. Before they were discover. Er doctor was trying to discharge. Because he did not find evidence of a stroke. I to had to insist on additional testing. The MRI was ordered by the consulted neurologist. There were two spots. if I didn't insist on getting medical help. I would’ve have been undiagnosed . The story's lesson. Medical care is not textbook knowledge or empirical data. My left leg had more attracts after the visit. a trail of bites and cuts on my shin and knee. I am recording a 90 day of my skin changes to prove to any doctor my medical condition is not psychos, it’s real.

This was my first visit to a dermatologist in 15 years and I wasn’t sure what to expect. Front desk staff were pleasant and efficient. Assistant to Ms Lauren Suki was thoughtful, a good listener, and made me feel at ease. Ms Sukri explained the skin cancer assessment process at the beginning and throughout the visit. She was considerate, skillful, and understood all my concerns and questions. She and her assistant were respectful of my privacy and did not rush me at all. I felt in good hands all the time. Ms. Sukri was very thorough and gave me options about procedures I needed. I have every confidence in her expertise I can absolutely recommend this excellent, professional team.
