N/A: see on ZocDoc itself. SO the ratings are just filled in to get the UI to work -- another sign that ZocDoc is awful.

Waited 2 hours to Brian. They messed up blood work, said I had a problem, then never called me back to say why.
I have been going to Dr. Meehan for years and he has always been easy to talk to about my medical situation.

His office always cancels appointments and they don’t return calls. I’m not sure if they are even in business.

It’s like his wait times get longer each time I go. 1+ hour waits are a bit ridiculous.
Really long wait. They even squeezed someone in before me when I was already behind.
Only issue - receptionist was short staffed so you could not get through over phone.
everything perfect besides the waiting time - very friendly and knowledgeable doc

Finding a good primary care physician is no easy task. As someone that manages a series of health problems, it’s important that I have a doctor who can treat me holistically. I became a patient of Dr. Meehan’s after an initial consultation where we spent quite some time reviewing existing health issues for which I was receiving treatment, as well as other symptoms that had yet to be diagnosed. Dr. Meehan was highly engaged, allowed me to fully explain my medical history, and took copious notes. Before leaving, we had an action plan for addressing my concerns and I felt positive as well as relieved that I had finally found the right doctor. After a few visits over the course of 6-8 months that feeling began to diminish. Every office visit came with a hefty wait time upwards of an hour as well as a surly attitude from Dr. Meehan’s receptionist. Once I was finally seen, it appeared that Dr. Meehan did not fully recall issues previously discussed or understand why I was there. However, by the end of each appointment I felt confident enough to continue seeing him based on his suggestions for treatment and plans for next steps. A few months had passed, and on Dr. Meehan’s request, I was asked to return for office visits every two weeks. Each time I came in, I had to provide him with a summary of what we had previously discussed and why I was there that day. Not a good feeling, especially when he was the one that asked me to come in. I can only suspect that this was due to his schedule being overbooked and not having the time to review patient cases before each appointment. In August of 2019, I had booked a recurring visit for which my appointment was canceled just a couple of days before due to the fact that, as I was informed, the office was moving location. I explained to Dr. Meehan’s receptionist that it was urgent I see him or at least speak to him as I would be traveling outside of the country for several weeks and had items to discuss regarding the health issues he was treating me for as well as medical forms I needed signed for my trip. I was told that the office was closed and Dr. Meehan could not see me. I asked that he give me a call. No call back was received. Over the course of two weeks I called several more times asking for a call back and never received one. I did not return to see Dr. Meehan after this and he never once attempted to contact me after being his patient for over a year. Perhaps he never received my messages. However, did he not ever once think to himself, “I wonder what happened to him?” Another example of failure of our healthcare system. Extremely disappointing and clearly still bothers me enough to write a review after all this time. Find a different doctor.

The communication between office manager and Dr. Meehan needs improvement. He should already know the reason of the visit and what was requested. The Office manage registered me for a complete physical but Dr. Meehan didn't do half the tests that are involved in such an exam. The wait time for well beyond 1hour and I was not the only patient with that issue.
He was great, very tentative, pleasant, listened with concern and came up with lots of possible solutions. Would highly recommend Dr. Brian Meehan MD.
I would not recommend Dr. Meehan. He told me I probably had a problem that needed to be addressed immediately, but he did not follow up with test results. The office has a phone answering service, so it's hard to reach the doctor directly. I went to another doctor and found out I did need treatment right away. Dr. Meehan knew this but was not responsible enough to follow up or send a prescription. When discussing the results of a blood test, he read me a diagnosis but seemed uncomfortable/uninterested in discussing the implications of the results, even when I calmly asked questions. Dr. Meehan did not seem aware/able to lend his expertise to my wellbeing as a person (my physical condition as well as a personal approach to dealing with it). He was simply going through the motions.

Had a very good experience overall. I was seen about five minutes past my appointment time. The doctor was very personable and professional. Once I was in the examination room everything was quick (but not hurried), clean and efficient. Will definitely be sticking with Dr. Meehan as my primary care doctor from here on out.

Very considerate and caring.
Verified patient
Very thorough. Felt like he listened to everything I had to say and answered my questions. This is a temporary office in a shared workspace set up. It was honestly a little awkward since it was my first time seeing Dr. Meehan.
Verified patient
Very personable and very thorough.
Great as always
I love Dr. Meehan. Been seeing him for years. It's been tough to reach the office lately and the wait times keep getting longer even if I have an appointment.
