Dr. Meehan was very thorough, asked probing questions, and clearly cared about identifying the cause of the health issues I've been experiencing. I appreciate that he spent more time than I expected assessing my condition, ordering comprehensive tests, etc.

The doctor runs his office with wait times of 45 minutes + even if you see there for a 2 minute follow up or a shot. Of my 4 visits, 3 have them have had a wait if 45 minutes toan hour for <5 minutes with any healthcare professional or the doctor himself. If you actually get to see him, he is a good doctor, but good luck

I've been going to Dr. Meehan (on & off due to insurance changes) for around 20 years. He's my preferred doctor. I love his bedside manner and he seems to truly care about his patients. However, the wait time for anannual physical is too long. It took 1 hr 45 min till I was brought to an examination room. My overall time I spent in the office was over 2 hrs. I don't remember it always taking this long. I do know that the last time I was sick and needed to see him for antibiotics I also waited over an hour. It was great that they were able to squeeze me in the same day however, I think next time I would rather visit a walk in clinic for something simple like antibiotics for a chest cold that won't go away.

Another great visit that reminds me why I've stuck with my choice of primary care physician through a decade of personal ups and downs in both my health and my insurance coverage. Dr. Meehan is always tuned in to where Iam and how he can support my efforts to get or stay healthy. So grateful for his whole practice and everyone in it.

Dr. Meehan himself is knowledgeable, approachable, and generally a great doctor, which makes it especially annoying that his office is such a mess. When I showed up for my first appointment I was told that Meehan wasn’t there that day; theyhad moved all of his patients, but had forgotten to call some of them (such as me). So I rescheduled. The next time I went I had my appointment, though I had to wait for, in total, about an hour before I was seen. (When I had a question about the prescription at the pharmacy later that day and tried to call the office, no one picked up.) Anyways, I made a follow-up appointment in the office; when I arrived for the follow-up appointment... after being locked out with some other people (including the ultrasound technician!) for 10 minutes, again, Meehan had decided to take an early weekend and wasn’t there, and no one in the office had notified me. I had to make another follow-up appointment to get my test results, but after that I will absolutely never go to this office again. It’s dysfunctional in the truest sense of the word, i.e., the disorganization and flippant attitudes make it so that it literally does not function as a working doctor’s office.

I like Meehan but please hire people who can draw blood properly. Twice now in the past year when I've gotten my blood drawn the nurse or nurse's aid misses my vein and has caused painful bruising. This has happened with two different staff employees.

Dr. Meehan is incredibly thorough, concerned, and effective. He is eager to get to the bottom of an open question, and quick to use his network to connect you with trusted specialists. And I adore the staff in his office, all of whom are warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful.

Really friendly doctor. Seems to care about patients. Made me feel comfortable and asked great health related questions to determine root cause of any issues. The nurse Sherry was also really nice and friendly. I would come again. Just a longwait time unfortunately difficult to leave work for that long.

I have been a patient of Dr Meehan’s on and off for 4-5 years. Dr Meehan is an amazing doctor who is very analytical and thorough. Unfortunately I must stop going to him as the wait times to see him areexcessive and my experience with his support staff is poor. My wait times are on average anywhere from 30-75 mins with an appt (fyi - the wait includes waiting once in the examination room). Meehan knows this is an issue as he once actually apologized as he was coming into to the exam room a full hours after his staff did the rote part of my annual physical. The biggest issue however is his office staff. It is difficult to get a call through assuming you get a call through during the few hours the switchboard is open (not during the 2 hours at Lunch or 5 mins past 9am or 15mins before the end of office hours that day), difficult to get a call back from the dr when you need to speak with him (you need to try a few times), difficult to get anyone to call you back even when they’ve left you a voicemail, and difficult to get your test results (took a month and several phone calls to get the results of my last physical). Not too surprising that this type of experience leaves the patient feeling like he is not a priority - especially when you witness all of coffeeclatching going on in the front of the office. The final straw was when the office staff made me wait over an hour for my appt only to admit (when I went to the front desk to ask when I would be seen) after reassuring all patients that the wait would not be long that the doctor had not even arrived for the day and all appts would be late. I called to complain to the doctor but not surprisingly my message was not returned presumably because it was not relayed to the doctor by the gatekeeper staff. If I had no work commitments and all day to wait, I’d love to continue having Dr Meehan as my GP, but I cannot block out hours of my day to wait around to be seen or deal with inefficient staff.

This is the first time in my adult life I feel like a doctor has truly listened to my concerns and what’s been happening in my health. Dr. Meehan asked me questions to help try and figure out what was goingon and was active in trying to find solutions and answers. I feel confident that he will be able to get to the bottom of things that have been going on with me that other doctors just brushed off or rushed me out for. I think I’ve finally found a PCP I want to stick with.

They said they would call in my prescription, so I showed up at my pharmacy 5 hours later after work and they hadn’t receive anything. I called the doctors office from the pharmacy. They said they’d call the pharmacy. I waitedfor an hour and the pharmacy never received a call. Now I have no prescription and I’m riding the train home from work at 8:30pm. Pretty lame.

I love Dr Meehan! The wait time is brutal, but once you are talking w him you feel as if you have his full, undivided attention. He is thoughtful, patient, and asks Qs that other doctors have never asked me -really 360/holistic Qs that have made me reevaluate different areas of my health/lifestyle. He is also connected to great docs in the city—he referred me to my ENT and neurologist who I both adore. If you can allot yourself a good 1.5-2hrs for an appt (you will wait) then see him.

Great doctor, but the most incompetent office staff I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. My prescription was never sent to my pharmacy. I went back to the doctor's office to check, and they told me they had no recordof the prescription and would call me. They never called, and have been unavailable since, with the phone number being routed to answering service. I'll now have to book an appointment with another doctor to get my antibiotics prescription. On another occasion, they booked an appointment for me at 7:30 AM. I turned up, and no one was there. When I came in later, no apology.

Dr. Meehan is an awesome physician - he takes the time to listen to you, asks good questions and you feel well-cared for. The downside of his practice is the gruffness of his office staff and the excruciating wait times. Ihad to wait two hours to see him; my husband was in the office for 3 hours. One upside is that they finally have an online portal so you can call to get medical results and don't have to go to the office.

I like the doctor and everyone at the office, but did not like to have to wait that long.
