For over 30 years, Brian P. Mekelburg, MD, FAAD, has been dedicated to providing the best in dermatologic care at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Towers in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Brian Mekelburg is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Mekelburg has won Super Doctor for the last 15 years and he was named “Who’s Who Doctor 2022." After graduating from Pomona College in Claremont, CA; Dr. Brian Mekelburg obtained his M.D. from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. Having completed a residency in Internal Medicine at UCLA-Harbor General Medical Center, he went on to complete a residency in Dermatology at the UCLA-Wadsworth VA combined program. Dr. Brian Mekelburg served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine in the Department of Medicine, division of Dermatology, at UCLA Medical Center for 14 years. He also served as Chief of Dermatology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for four years. He is an active Attending Physician at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Brian Mekelburg’s background in Internal Medicine has made him a widely sought-after consultant for solving and managing more difficult cases in his field. Dr. Brian Mekelburg’s artistic eye and 30 plus years of experience with injection of fillers has led to his expertise in this arena. He also excels in the injection of Botox, sclerotherapy (for unwanted leg veins), and numerous lasers; and has performed thousands of these types of procedures.
