I went in today for a normal eye exam and to try out contacts for the first time. Every staff member was extremely nice and made me feel super comfortable while teaching me about contacts. Ms. Jeanne was super super nice and patient while teaching me how to put in and take out contacts, as I had never done it before. I'm sending my fiancé in to meet with them about him getting contacts as well. They get an A+ in my book!!

Dr. Brianne Poole received her bachelor degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin in 2003. She then attended the University Of Houston College Of Optometry where she graduated with honors in 2007. Dr. Poole completed internships specializing in geriatric ocular disease, pediatrics, neurologic ocular disease and low vision. She especially enjoyed her rotation in Germany at a US Army post because she was able to see specialty pediatric cases as well as manage patients who had LASER vision correction. She is currently licensed as a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist and is a member of the American Optometric Association as well as the Texas Optometric Association. She previously worked at another location in Austin before joining Lakeline Vision Source in 2012.
Dr. Poole has a particular interest in diagnosing and treating glaucoma, dry eye and ocular infections as well as prescribing a variety of contact lenses. She also really likes working with children and tending to all of their eye care needs.
In her free time she most enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and their rescue dachshund Reilly. She also loves to bake, kayak, read and watch UT sports. She is interested in learning foreign languages and is currently working on American Sign Language.

This was my first time with Dr Poole. All staff were friendly and helpful. There was the standard 'medical wait' for the Dr to show but nothing out of the ordinary.
