About Dr. Melissa Huynh
Dr. Melissa Huynh is a resident trained therapeutic optometrist and glaucoma specialist. She is dedicated to providing quality eye care to patients with services such as specialty contact lenses, evaluation and treatment of ocular pathology, pre and post-operative care of cataract and refractive surgery, medical laser treatment and lumps/bumps removal.
Dr. Huynh completed her Bachelors in Public Health at Tulane University and received her Doctorate of Optometry with clinical honors at Illinois College of Optometry. During her time at ICO, she was a member of Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society, Tomb & Key Honor Society, and Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. She completed her residency program in Ocular Disease with emphasis in Refractive and Ocular Surgery in Covington, Louisiana.
Dr. Huynh is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. She is currently a member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association. Dr. Huynh is passionate about providing exceptional care to every one of her patients. She loves her career and improving her patient’s vision and ocular health.

I loved this office, I have bad eyesight *genetics* but the staff took the time to explain things to me and made sure I was always comfortable. I felt informed and aware of every decision which isn’t always the case in a Dr’s office. I plan to make this my permanent eye doctor.

I only have good things to say about my visit here! I was very pleased by the friendliness of the staff and the nice office. Everyone who attended me were quick and knowledgeable, yet took the time to listen to my input and were very clear communicators. I also appreciate that while they did offer frames and contacts, they did not try to push me to purchase anything which I’ve experienced at some other optometrist offices. I will definitely be returning here for my next checkup!

Wonderful staff, I was welcomed at the front desk with a SMILE by everyone. My eye exam was quick, the tech was professional and kind and my doctor was professional and communicated effectively. This was my first appointment with this establishment and based off my experience, they will be my family’s eye doctor as well. 10/10 I definitely recommend this establishment to others.
