Dr. Govan grew up in Atlanta, GA, where she went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of Georgia. Go Dawgs! From there, she received her Doctorate of Optometry at Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. Govan specializes in primary care, ocular disease, and dry eyes. She’s experienced with patients of all ages and focused on leveraging the latest technology to deliver high-quality care to her patients. With a passion for living a healthy lifestyle, Dr. Govan is a certified diet and nutrition advisor. She believes in a holistic approach to eye care and treating the root cause of the disease rather than just the symptoms. Dr. Govan moved from being lead Optometrist in SHARPEVISION Chicago to lead Optometrist in SHARPEVISION Austin in 2024.
