The docto was very nice knowledgeable, his front stuff was horrible. also be aware he run his practice out of an urgent care, and when I went everyone was getting tested for Covid, and the nurse assistants were carrying the swabs around without putting them in vial . Also they swab the people and the they touch their faces , etc. That part was really disturbing and made me want to run away

Bruce M. Albert, M.D., the founder of Elite Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with more than 20 years of clinical experience. A community-centered orthopaedist who has practiced in Irvine, California as a solo practitioner for over 15 years, Dr. Albert is steadfastly committed to offering his patients exceptional care and restoring their quality of life. With a focus on implementing the latest in proven effective technology, tools and methodologies, Dr. Albert has achieved a well-respected and highly regarded reputation within the local medical community as well as among his patients.
Dr. Albert focuses his practice predominantly on a wide range of sports injuries, and particularly on injuries and disorders involving the knee and shoulder in the recreational athlete. He has previously worked closely with the athletic departments of Fullerton High School and Irvine Valley College.
Dr. Albert has always subscribed to a philosophy whereby the treatment plan he recommends to patients is exactly the same one he would recommend to a family member. He prides himself on being an extremely ethical physician who exhausts all non-operative measures before resorting to surgery. When surgery is, however, the only option available to achieve the desired result, Dr. Albert has had the experience and technical proficiency that has led to patients reporting impressive and striking improvements after treatment. Dr. Albert’s surgical expertise relates primarily to knee and shoulder arthroscopy (having performed more than 6000 of these procedures during his career), bur he also treats other orthopedic conditions, including fractures and arthritis.

Very frank and honest assessment of the condition of my injured knee. He felt surgery was unnecessary at the moment. He suggested a cortisone injection to reduce inflammation and that I revisit and reassess the situation in 6 months. Any suggestion of a knee replacement (mentioned by a previous GP) was overkill. When I informed him that my visit was exploratory and that I would be seeing another orthopedic surgeon for a second opinion, he gave me a disc with the x-rays he had just taken, so that the other surgeon would not have to repeat the procedure. Very professional and generous.

The doctor was great, very informative, friendly and attentive. Diagnosed me correctly and explained my options ect. for an ACL replacement and meniscectomy. Unfortunately I couldn't go with him because of the office staff. I could barely get them to call me back to make an appt. for my MRI. and a few times i got someone on the phone and she didn't know how to make appt.s , maybe my interaction with them was during a bad time or someone quit, i don't know. Also I waited nearly 2 hours when I went and it seemed like everyone else had. The guy next to me literally fell asleep. If you are running that behind clearly there are scheduling issues and one should call patients to let them know.
