About Dr. Babak Samimi
Dr. Babak Samimi began his undergraduate studies at UCLA where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psycho-Biology and graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He continued his graduate studies at the UCLA School of Medicine where he graduated with Honors in Surgery. He then successfully completed his internship and residency at the University of Southern California specializing in Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Samimi has been an author on multiple published peer-reviewed papers and has presented his research on numerous occasions. Dr. Samimi is actively involved in academics through his role as Clinical Instructor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine for residents at the USC Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Samimi is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Arthroscopy Association of North America, California Orthopaedic Association and Orthopedic Trauma Association.

I had booked a Tue appt with Dr. Samimi, but was able to see his PA a day early! Have been seen by Dr. Samimi and his PA for different visits and they are always professional and detailed In their explanations of their medical assessment and why they are recommending whatever treatment they are.

solid place 4/5 stars. I signed up to see the doctor and a physician assistant saw me instead, which was kinda weird. he was very knowledgable though and I felt comfortable with their diagnosis however I feel like if I book an appointment with a certain doctor, I should see that doctor (or at least another doctor and not a PA). Otherwise was pleased, would have been 5 stars if the doctor attended to me

I saw dr. Samimi for a second opinion after I was told by a previous doctor that I needed surgery right away on my fractured hand. The second Dr. Samimi saw my X-rays he said NO WAY to surgery and put me in a cast. 4 weeks later my hand is almost 100% back to normal. I am sooooo happy I avoided getting surgery. On top of knowing his stuff medically, he was a super cool and easy going guy. Made me feel totally comfortable! Highly recommend.
