I emphasize patient education in my practice, taking time to answer questions so that you understand the diagnosis and my treatment recommendations. I also try to discuss all the reasonable treatment options, operative and non-operative, so that you can make an informed choice. In most cases, there is more than one way to approach each orthopaedic problem, depending on your preferences.
I practice general orthopaedic surgery, with special interest in sports injuries and shoulder and knee injuries. Most of the surgery I perform involves arthroscopy, using very small incisions and special cameras and instruments.

Great! No long wait for appointment. Dr. Beavers discussed in easy-to-understand terms. Cordial, efficient staff. Only the appointment process was puzzling. Recording only offered "If you wish to speak to the doctor", not "make an appointment". I left a message with the answering service but no call-back. Booking online worked well, though!

I visited for a chronic shoulder/rotator cuff nagging pain I have had.
I was extremely pleased with the visit.
1) Thorough diagnosis and explanations: He spent real time with me doing multiple tests, he explained why he was doing those tests, what he was looking for, and even gave me a little bit of background on how the field has evolved over time. He also laid out his recommendations alongside different other options with clear pros and cons to each option.
2) They saw me within 2 minutes of arrival to office even though I was ~15 min late.
3) Very professional and courteous manner. Treats the patient truly like a person who is concerned about their health as opposed to some doctors who just come in for 2 minutes, don't explain what they are doing, and just walk out. Much appreciated.

Dr. Beavers was great. I hadn't been to a doctor or had a physical Injury in quite some time. I found Dr. Beavers through this website along with many other doctors whom I also did not know. Dr. Beavers reviews suggested he had a good reputation and I can confirm he in fact is outstanding. Even adjusted my crutches I bought for an emergency from Wal Mart.

I said X-ray is not needed for my problem but the doctor insisted to take it and found nothing wrong with it. This is simply to make money.

I was seen without any waiting beyond my appointment time, and was in and out for a first visit/new patient appointment within an hour.
Dr. Beavers did a hands-on exam as well as x-rays to determine my problem, and made recommendations. He wasn't pushy when I wasn't interested in purchasing an ankle brace. He was also thoughtful and analytical in answering questions.

Dr. Beavers is very attentive. He listens and asks questions to narrow down my problem. He also is very knowledgeable about drug interactions and made sure to prescribe meds that would not cause any problems with ones i already take on a daily basis. I think that's very important. It's wonderful to get relief from my knee pain.

The office reception staff is very unprofessional, openly talking about patients in a snarky manner and not welcoming at all. Dr. Beavers was friendly but not knowledgeable in foot orthopedics. I am going to a foot specialist recommended by the ER doc on Monday.

His staff was very friendly and professional and helped me schedule the needed appointments. I had a very positive experience and definitely recommend him.
